Motorsport engineer with experience in Vehicle Dynamics and Trackside Engineering.
Experience
-
2024 - 2025 Modena, Italy
Vehicle Dynamics Engineer
More Modena Racing
In charge of initial development of the Simulink model of the UniMoRe Formula Student car. Set up intial model with the Simulink blockset in Simulink. Initiated development of a custom Pacejka Magic Formula tyre model
- Acheived high correlation of steady state lateral and longitudinal characteristics with test data from real car
- Further concepts intended to recreate path of car using quasi-static data.
-
2023 - 2024 Pune, India
Vehicle Dynamics (MBD) Engineer
Applus+ IDIADA
Member of the MBD department at IDIADA’s India headquarters. Ran simulations, conducted development and analysis of vehicle suspension, tyres and chassis systems for multiple OEMs
- One of my main projects involved the automation of standard simulations in MSC Adams. Used Python, command line and AI to create a complete automation toolkit that ran and processed simulations, and created reports.
- Used state of the art tyre models such as FTire to conduct simulations.
-
2023 - 2023 Chennai, India
Race Engineer
Indian Formula 4 Championship
Won a scholarship by the United Motorsports Academy to participate in the 2023 Indian F4 and IRL seasons.
- Worked on multiple cars with multiple responsibilities ranging from data analysis to tyre preparation.
- Gained trackside expereince and skills. Understood the competences required to compete at a high level in a trackside, race engineering environment.
-
2019 - 2023 Mumbai, India
Aerodynamics and Vehicle Dynamics Lead
Orion Racing India
Was a member of the aerodynamics and vehicle dynamics departments at the university’s electric Formula Student Team
- Led a team of 20 engineers to design, manufacture, test and race an electric Formula Student car.
- Designed and manufactured a carbon fiber aerodynamics package with a 15% improvement in aerodynamic efficiency.
- Redesigned the kinematics and generated new dynamic data for the car.
Education
-
2024 - present Emilia-Romagna, Italy
Masters
MotorValley University of Emilia-Romagna
Advanced Automotive Engineering - Racing Car Deisgn
- Vehicle Dynamics, Race Car Tyres, Chassis & Body Design, CFD & Aerodynamics
- 1 of 3 extra EU students selected for the Racing Car Design curriculum at MUNER.
- First year of the course is administered at UniMoRe and the second year is at the Dallara Academy.
- The course features advanced theoretical concepts regarding Vehicle Dynamics, Structures, Aerodynamics and other key subjects. The second year of the course has a more applied emphasis and translates theory to real life race car design concepts.
-
2019 - 2023 Mumbai, India

K.J Somaiya College of Engineering (University of Mumbai)
Mechanical Engineering
- Was taught advanced theoretical and practical concepts in the field of Mechanical Engineering
- Was a part of the university’s Formula Student Electric team - Orion Racing India.
Awards
-
2023 F4 Scholarship
United Motorsports Academy
Won a scholarship while attending the LIME Workshop by UMA in 2023. Scored among the top 30 particpants in the edn-of-workshop quiz to win the scholarship.
-
2024 Insta Face Award
Applus+ IDIADA
Awarded for delivering a project to a client and recieving appreciation for furthering the image of the company.
Publications
-
2024 Computational Analysis of Serpentine Nozzles
Springer, Fluid Mechanics and Fluid Power, Volume 3
It concerned an interpretation of the Michelson–Morley experiment and the properties of light and time. Special relativity incorporates the principle that the speed of light is the same for all inertial observers regardless of the state of motion of the source.
